The Valdese Farmers Market is located on Faet Street and sets up every Wednesday from 8am until noon and Fridays from 2pm until 5:00pm. For further information call 828-879-2129.

Valdese Independence Day Celebration & Fireworks Display. Live entertainment featuring Too Much Sylvia.

45th Season of the Outdoor Drama "From This Day Forward"
August 9th and 10th- 38th Annual Waldensian Festival
Kick-off on Friday night with live music by Jim Quick & Coastline & classic car cruise-in. Saturday 9am until 9pm with live entertainment throughout the day with the Fantastic Shakers finishing out the evening, over 150 art/food/craft vendors, children's rides & extended hours for all local attractions as well as local merchants. Valdese Merchants presents "Treats in the Streets." Candy provided by local merchants from 3pm – until 5pm. Costume judging immediately following at the stage area in Wells Fargo Parking lot.

Christmas in November Craft & Gift Show sponsored by the Historic Valdese Foundation located in the Old Rock School. Over 30 handmade craft vendors will display and sell their product during this one day event.
November 26th through December 24th 6:00pm - 9:00pm
Trail of LIghts at the Trail of Faith. Over 100,000 Christmas lights beautifully illuminate this 11 acre open air exhibit.
