GARBAGE COLLECTION

Curbside garbage collection is a Town-provided service that is available to all residents of Valdese.

Large, rollable containers are provided free of charge and are left at the end of the residents driveway on collection day.

The day your household waste is collected depends on in which area of Valdese you live. Residents are asked to have their containers at the curb as early as possible to avoid being missed.

RECYCLING

Valdese encourages all its citizens to recycle and offers curbside collection of recyclable materials in a provided container.  Recyclables include: Type 1 & 2 plastic containers, metal food and drink containers, newspapers, and magazines.

As with garbage collection, the pickup day depends upon in which area of Valdese one lives.
